Jacky, Steve and Angela pull out all the stops for an unforgettable evening in the English Countryside

The weekend of July 5 was one both Carlyn and I remember when we think back on the great times here in the UK. Our British friends, Steve and Jacky Cupit, who moved back to UK a month before we moved here, after spending nine years as Expats in Houston, and Jacky’s sister Angela, hosted us and nine others to an enchanting, formal dinner in the English Country.

Carlyn and I chose the theme “The Great Southwest meets the Southeast”; the finest meats and produce from the

married with the flavors of the Southwest US. The location was Angela’s Muspatts“Farm” north of London in the wee village of Tewin. Angela rented a large sided tent and Jacky provided decorations obtained from a recent visit to Houston. Steve arrived from

Singapore

just a few hours before the event, bringing with him orchids.
